Massolutions also knows hockey books
Massolutions offered insight, planning strategies and support to The Johnstown Tribune-Democrat’s book project “Slapshots and snapshots: 50 years of Professional Hockey in Johnstown.”

The 385-page, hardback book hit the shelves in November 2007. “Slapshots and Snapshots” includes hundreds of photographs, the most comprehensive statistical package on Johnstown hockey and more than 30 stories written by award-winning Tribune-Democrat hockey writer Mike Mastovich, the brother of David M. Mastovich.

A six-man team compiled the book. Current Pittsburgh Penguins equipment manager Dana Heinze of Johnstown was one of the project leaders.

“Slapshots and Snapshots” received acclaim in publications such as The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, NHL.com, Penguins.nhl.com and FOX Sports Pittsburgh, which interviewed Heinze during the Penguins season.
