Success Stories
Carson Long Military Institute
A military training school approached us with a problem. They wanted to spread the word about their school and increase their enrollment, but didn’t know how they could market themselves to make that happen. Fortunately, we did.
We held strategic planning sessions with the school that resulted in a website redesign and a direct mail campaign. Their slogans: “Building Character for Life” and “Knowledge Today, College Tomorrow” became featured on their new website and mailings. Media releases were also sent out on their behalf. Through our marketing efforts, the school is seen as a highly respected and honorable military training school.
Community LIFE
A health center for the elderly was poised for a lot of growth and wanted to be certain they were prepared to take on the extra business while still maintaining the quality care the center was known for. We had the strategic solutions necessary to prepare them for their future.
We conducted a CPS strategy session with the health center to determine their business and marketing needs. The session led us to build CRM software for the center and provide one-on-one mentoring as part of a process improvement plan. We also performed a marketing collateral audit, where we took a hard look at all of their marketing materials and made suggestions for improvement. With our help, the health center was more than ready for substantial growth.
IntegraCare
When a senior living community wasn’t pleased with their low number of new residents, they came to us to find out why seniors weren’t choosing their caring and welcoming facility for their assisted living needs. We found out why and helped the community increase their number of residents.
We examined the community’s sales process step-by-step and found they were struggling in three very important areas: generating inquiries, giving tours and turning tours into sales. We developed marketing efforts to increase inquiries by potential residents, which included a direct mail campaign and billboard advertising. And because a low number of inquiries were turning into tours, we helped the community utilize a third-party telephone selling system that gave potential customers a more consistent message that resulted in more tours. Finally, we helped train the marketing and sales staff in specific selling behaviors that would convert more tours into sales.
Presbyterian Senior Care
Unhappy with the small number of seniors who were choosing their services, a senior care company came to us for help with their selling and marketing techniques.
To improve their marketing efforts, we segmented and drilled their target audience and revamped their mailing list to make a direct mail campaign more efficient. We also created an ePromo campaign as an alternative to direct mailings. To increase their sales, we mentored their salespeople one-on-one across various products and improved processes. With our help, the senior care company was no longer disappointed with their numbers.
Valley Hospice
Valley Hospice wanted our help with renewing their brand identity. For individuals who are suffering from a terminal illness, Valley Hospice is a peaceful and compassionate option. It was essential that their logo and branding conveyed that.
We updated their logo and developed a new tagline, “Caring. Living. Healing.”, that is now on all their marketing materials and website. We also created three television commercials, each representing one element of their tagline. These commercials showed audiences that Valley Hospice is a helpful and caring place for their residents.

The logo now features the tagline, “Realize your computing potential” while the website focuses on the customer and how LV Tech can fulfill all of their computing needs. With their new brand, small businesses can see that LV Tech is just what they’re looking for.

Kane Regional Centers
A facility providing residential skilled nursing care and rehabilitation to its residents needed our help in gaining more publicity for their four regional centers. The company has always focused on giving people the wonderful medical attention they deserve; now it just wanted everyone to know about it.
Our public relations efforts helped spread the good news coming from the centers, as the media reported on the centers’ special activities and new renovations. Using the media, we were able to inform the public about the high-quality care the centers provide and highlight the benefits of these facilities. In addition, we worked with the Allegheny County web team to place a permanent link to the facility on their website. The publicity surrounding each center keeps the company’s name in the forefront of people’s minds and generates more business for the centers.
Greater Johnstown School District
When a local school district was getting more attention for the negative things happening within the district, they came to us for some much needed public relations assistance.
To help spread the word about the district’s academic and athletic achievements, we began publishing The Trojan Times. The Trojan Times is a newsletter that focuses on the positive things happening within the district and is mailed to more than 18,000 students and households. The newsletter has been extremely successful in changing the school district’s reputation and was even given two awards. In 2009 it received the Print Newsletter/Newspaper Award of Excellence from the Pennsylvania School Boards Association and an Award of Excellence from the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association.
